We sometimes tend to forget that Jesus did not come to earth as a grown-up. He had a father and a mother, and He knows what it is like to be a child. Perhaps because of this firsthand knowledge, He developed a love and genuine compassion for children.
Jesus said in Matthew 19:14-15. āLet the little children come to Me, and do not forbid them; for of such is the kingdom of heaven And He laid His hands on them and departed from thereā.
In Hebrews 13:8, the Bible tells us that Jesus is the same yesterday, today and forever. That means that it is still His desire to have the children brought to Him. Jesus was the express image of God. It is still His desire to take them up in His arms, lay His hands on them and bless them.
At Little Falls Christian Centre, we want to do what the Bible teaches. This includes our children. Therefore we place value on our ministry to children and families and want them to feel welcome and part of the Kingdom of God. We want the children to belong, meaning, we want them to feel welcome and part of the body of Christ, we want them to believe in Jesus Christ as our Lord and Saviour and in the Word of God, and ultimately we want them to behave in such a way that everybody can see they belong to Jesus.
The childrenās ministry goes all-out to teach our children the basic principles and values of Godās Word from an early age.
The children's church runs concurrently with the morning services throughout the year. School-going children can attend Super Kids during the evening service as well.
